Business Buyer Badge

What are Badges?

Proudly display your virtual, personalized Business Buyer Badge to show lenders, sellers, brokers, and key industry professionals that you are an accredited Certified Business Buyer, so they know that you are an expert and prefer you over other buyers. These eBadges can be put on your social media profiles and email signature!

Why are Badges so important?

Industry professionals such as sellers and lenders only want to work with buyers who they know are set up for success. Sellers and brokers prefer buyers who they know have an education about the process, all of the proper documents and resources needed to complete the acquisition, a reliable reputation and social proof (with social media profiles), and secured funding to buy the business, because this proves that you are a serious buyer with a high likelihood to close. Many times, sellers and brokers do not even agree to speak with potential buyers who do not meet these requirements. Thankfully, we help you achieve all of this!

What kind of Badges can I earn?

We currently have one main badge you may be awarded- Your Certified Business Buyer Badge- along with three other badge ribbons that attach to it- the Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA) Course, SBA Lending Approved, and Experienced Buyer badges. These all further show that you are a serious, preferred buyer! Read below for more information on each badge.

How do I earn Badges?

You can earn a Certified Business Buyer Badge by becoming a member of our Buyer’s Club and completing the buyer onboarding. You can also earn a Certified Business Buyer Badge, along with the First Time Buyer badge cluster, by enrolling in our First Time Buyer eLearning Course Program. Once you receive your main Certified Business Buyer Badge, either by enrolling in the course or becoming a member of the club, you are then eligible to receive the badge ribbons outlined below.

How do I keep my Badge?

Your Certified Business Buyer Badge and clusters are active for as long as your membership is current, and you must fulfill 5 hours of continuing education activities each year in order to satisfy badge requirements. This is to make sure our buyers are highly educated and have their fingers on the pulse when buying their business! Your continuing education requirements will be easy to obtain, however, as we have plenty of monthly learning videos, mastermind sessions, and educational opportunities!
