These 10 Traits Can Help Determine Your Destiny

Success is not random. It’s not something that can be bought and it’s not something that can be handed down. Success must come from within, and the seeds of success lie in those who eventually become successful entrepreneurs. Any internet business broker will tell a budding entrepreneur that to become successful, certain rules are meant to be followed, and yet at the same time, to be successful, some rules must be broken. Think you’ve got what it takes? Below are 10 common traits of highly successful entrepreneurs:

  • Financially stable and financially prepared. Yes, this does imply that only rich people can be successful, but that doesn’t have to be the case. An internet business broker will tell you that anyone can be financially prepared with enough time to save. Diving in head first doesn’t have to be the case either, try having a startup company on the side, while real money is brought in through a 9-5 job. Eventually enough will be saved to purchase that ecommerce or Amazon business for sale.
  • Can you see the forest for the trees? Being able to simultaneously see the “big picture” view of your company i.e., where will it be in five years? 10 years? While also focusing on the small day-to-day goals is one trait of a successful entrepreneur.
  • Copious amounts of enthusiasm. A successful entrepreneur is not motivated by money; they are motivated by an inner drive to succeed. Spending inordinate amounts of time and energy on a project that could, ultimately, fail, requires passion and enthusiasm to keep the wheels turning, and to create a successful entrepreneur.
  • Confident, nearly to the point of being cocky. With seven billion people in the world, there is always going to be someone “better.” Fortunately, success isn’t solely allotted to the “better,” people but to the people who are confident enough to see their way through obstacles and toward the light at the end of the tunnel.
  • Resilient attitude. Like a struggling actor in Hollywood, a future successful entrepreneur gets the door slammed in his face time and again. Seeing past this to the future is what separates the Robert DeNiro’s from the Franz Cheebler’s. (Who is Franz Cheebler? Yeah, you get the idea).
  • Ability to make quick decisions. “Spin the Wheel Make the Deal” requires an almost sixth sense for determining which path is the right one. Waiting for all of the information to become available is waiting too long, and the possibility arises of losing out on tremendous opportunities.
  • Life itself is a risk. Sure, it doesn’t mean sky diving without a parachute, but a budding successful entrepreneur will be willing to take a certain amount of calculated and spontaneous risk. An internet business broker can help the entrepreneur decide on his level of comfortable risk.
  • Just as trees and grass bend in the wind, so a successful entrepreneur needs to be able to “go with the flow” and modify his or her business plan to match the opportunities and new paths to success.
  • The ability to sell like a madman. Budding entrepreneurs might not realize it, but an internet business broker will say that when it comes to starting a new business, selling it is a constant. It could be to prospective partners, employees, vendors, regardless of the audience, the entrepreneur is constantly selling their vision to someone.
  • Living a balanced life. Despite all of the enthusiasm, the hard work and dedication, the big visions of great success, a successful entrepreneur knows when to cool their heels, when to go home and turn off work and to enjoy the company of their loved ones.
